Myron Rolle is Smart

You don’t see this every day.

“Florida State defensive back Myron Rolle will not enter the 2009 NFL draft and instead will head for Oxford, England to study medical anthropology for a year.

Earlier this year Rolle was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship. He graduated from FSU in 2 1/2 years with a pre-med degree.

Rolle e-mailed Pete Thamel of the New York Times that he was told he would have gone in the top 50 picks of the draft and could have moved up depending on his performance at the combine.”

I guess it’s an obvious sentiment, but this is kind of cool.
